Ive made some fascinating progress thanks to this site.
My grandfather was Elijah buckley but started life as Elijah smith b.1902 And through help have managed to track that he married Elsie Martland but I cannot trace a DOB or place of birth for this woman..I mean today i found that I ( if still alive) had 2 extra aunties and an uncle but stumped on her..They were married in 1931 Rochford. Elijah has been recorded BMD but not Elsie.
 Any ideas would be appreciated.

 Thanks

 Hi,
I have something very interesting I have found out thanks to the people on this site...

I have discovered that my fathers father Elijah Buckley b1901 has no birth on record, So i am wondering whether this Elijah Smith b1902 Rochford is him. He married Elsie martland in 1931.
Through research there is no record at all of Elijah Buckley born in UK,
What we think of that !!
