Hi Gigi,

I know it has been some time since you posted but I find myself also researching this family (Francis NORMAN) is my 3 great-grandfather. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one confused!

According to letters written by her brother Thomas RICHARDSON here in New Zealand dated June 1853, to his brother Henry in Brede

Thanks.

Hi Ian,
Thomas RICHARDSON is my 3rd great-grandfather. Do you still have copies of these letters? Would it be possible to see them, I'd love to see his writing?
I can share any records I have for Thomas - coroner's report, Poor Law Union Correspondence, etc.

Thank you!

Cumberland / Whitehaven Cemetery - Request for photos
« on: Wednesday 03 February 16 01:41 GMT (UK)  »
Hello,

I am researching my family line that originated in Whitehaven.

I have confirmed with the Copeland Borough Council that two of my ancestors are buried at the Whitehaven Cemetery.

The burial details are as follows:

Francis Todd was buried in a section known as ward 4, section M, number 97.
George Todd was buried in an section known as ward 6, section O, number 53.

Their biographical details:

Francis Todd (née Atkinson) - 17 Feb 1845 to 1881 (possibly first quarter) George Todd - 4 Nov 1844 to 4 Oct 1908

They were both living at 80 Middle Row, New Houses at the time of their deaths.

If anyone visits the cemetery and is willing to take photographs of their headstones (if they are still even there!) I'd be really very grateful.

Thank you!
