The information on the Joseph Banks family is not quite correct.  Joseph was my Grandfather and his family consisted of James (who emigrated to the United States where he married). I have no further information on him; Selina (Not Angelina) who was my mother, Joseph, May, Thomas, Matthew, Isaac, George and Gertrude.  Joseph went to live in Derby and married Kathleen. Sorry I do not recall her maiden name.  They had one son named David.  May was a nurse in Devizes and had a son Ian.  She later moved to Derby and was married to a man named Leslie (Sorry again no surname).  Gertrude married a man called Fred Gawley and they did indeed live at Gawley's Gate.  If I garner any more information from family members I will post it.
