Pembrokeshire / Calling all "DAYS" in Pembrokeshire

James Day of Catershill Farm Begelly (1784 - 1854) had 13 children. James Day himself was 1 of 7 children - but thats another story!

The 13 children were:

Joseph Day, Susannah Day, William Day, Mary Day, James Day, Martha Day, George Day, John Day, Rebecca Day, Thomas Day, Isaac Day, Elizabeth Day, Benjamine Day

I have done a lot of research but there are still a few siblings that I have not been able to trace forward....

Do any of the following siblings appear in your family tree?

Susannah Day (b.1807), William Day (b.1811), James Day (b.1815), George Day (b.1818), John Day(b.1821), Isaac Day (b.1827), Elizabeth Day (b.1829) or Benjamine Day (b.1831 - moved to bridgend with brother thomas), Rebecca Day

If you are related to any of these people, get in touch. I have information to share on all of the other siblings.

Hello everyone,

this is my first post.

I can see many discussions going on here about the day family.

I am a direct descendant of James day who worked at catershill farm. The farm during the mid 1800's was left to James day's son - Joseph Day who married James Rees' daughter. James Rees originally owned the farm.

Many of you have noted that you have DAY family history and i would very much like to see what you have researched.

I recently received an email from an Australian chap who lives in Perth, who's mother was a descendant from James Day.

It appears as though the DAY family in pembrokeshire is very extensive, and I would love to hear about any discoveries or indeed living ancestors that I have no idea about!

Kind Regards,
Rob Day
