Hi Eve,

Michael Joe Caulfield's phone number is listed in the Eircom Directory (*)

I'm sure he could help you with your enquiries.

Good Luck :)

I'm not sure of the reference to Ballinrobe but there is a village in Kilmovee called Carrowlackey and there is a Michael Joe Caulfield still living there with his wife and family - perhaps he could shed some light on it.  Maybe he is a descendant!

Mayo / Costello/Moran, Carrowreagh, Ballinagare
« on: Tuesday 04 January 11 11:43 GMT (UK)  »
I am hoping that somebody can provide information regarding Mary Costello (nee Moran), who died in 1928 in hospital in Dublin.  She was married to Patrick Costello, originally from Co. Mayo, and I believe they lived in her home-place of Carrowreagh, Ballinagare (around where Scotts pub now stands).  She was in her early 40's and left behind a young family.  I think perhaps a newly born or unborn baby died with her.  Her husband and family later emigrated to UK.  I am trying to find out where she was buried - maybe a Moran family plot? in the Ballinagare area of Roscommon, so far I have not been able to find any burial record.
Any help, no matter how small, would be genuinely appreciated.
