Hi

Couldn't find it either??
so I've added it again to the readers comments and saved it? alternatively I could send the information to you.
'Joseph Edward Berner
12.7.1915 enlisted Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Force in Montreal. Killed in action 17.1.1917 France. Buried Maroueil British Cemetery. Plot 3 Row 3 Grave 15'

I haven't found how he got back to Montreal seeing that he was deported in August 1914.  His brother, Charles, enlisted in the British Army in May 1915 and was died from gun shot wounds December 1915.  Buried in Belgium.

Regards

Lesley

Hi Tazzie,
I'm only one generation further back than what you have.  I have father of William Hall I -Edward Hall (1691-1755)(Bell founder)  m 1) Mary Simpson (b 1691)  and 2) Elizabeth ? 1696-1734.  This information gathered from another cousin??

Poor old bellfounder

Good luck in your searching

Hi Tazzie

Lovely to hear form someone so soon especially as this is a bit of an old thread.  Found it in a google search!!
I've only just started getting into this 'hobby' and am amazed at what I've found so far!!  My sister in law started it off so I can't lay claim to most of the research but have already found new 'third cousins'

Caleb and Ann also my GG Grandparents, I decend from the eldest son Charles.  Charles was born in Stewkley 1866 and his son Herbert (my grandfather) was born in London.  Would be interested to know when Charles came to London if you have any info on that.  Furthest back I can go is to Edward Hall 1691, bell founder (continuing the business from Chandler Family) with his son William.
Any info on or prior to this would also be appreciated.

thanks
