Hi J.
got your messages but am unable to send a personal message to you. I have lots of info on the Croudaces/Pascoes for Bristol and S Wales. Can you send a personal message to me? If not what do you know and what do you want to know? (unable to reply direct to J.)

Has anyone researched the pascoe family in Bristol 1700 - 1750? I am looking for the descendants of Peter Pascoe probably born c.1695. I believe his father was Petter Pascut , yeoman. I have just visited the Bristol RO and have found ten  baptisms in the Bristol area 1700-50, - various parishes incl St Philip and St Jacob, Bedminster, Syston, and Oldlands. But am unable to establish a link between them.

I use PAF5 for my research. My daughter lives in Hong Kong - does anyone know if and how I can copy my research to her using the internet? I tried contacting Family Search for help but got no reply.

I am researching the Pascoe's of Bristol. My forefather John Pascoe was born at Hanham Abbots or Bitton (Bristol)in Mar 1767. Has anyone details of his forefathers? ( I have all the deatils of his descendants). Pascoe is a Cornish name, and as he was involved in coal mining in the Bristol coalfields, I wonder if the family moved there from Cornwall.

Hi Colin
I am new to Rootschat - my name is Peter Pascoe - and Elizabeth Croudace born Painshaw 1799, was my gtgtgmother.I know all about the Pascoe line/history back to the 1700's when they were in Bristol, but I had drawn a blank on the Croudaces. So I was fascinated - and thrilled! - to find your threads on them on roots chat.
I would be very pleased indeed if you could let me have details of Elizabeths forefathers and what they did.
How does roots chat work? Can you email details to me? ( ps you probably know that Elizabeth died in childbirth on the day she gave birth to my gtgfather)

I have the details of b. 1799 Elizabeth Croudace's marriage; children, death, cause etc - and the Pascoe family details - but I am looking for details of Elizabeths forefathers. I understand that her parents were John and Elizabeth and that Elizabeth died in childbirth in 1817 ( as did my Elizabeth on 30th Dec 1828). But did John remarry? I have found a marriage to Louisa Helen Tudor in Aug 1848 in Monmouth, witness Mary Croudace. Louisa was 48 year old spinster and he a 72 year old widower. The details make sense....... The marriage details said he was a "gentleman from Bilston - nowhere near Monmouth -  and his father was James, also "gentleman".It would be good to resolve. Also I am hoping to find more details of Elizabeths lineage. Thanks for your help.
Peter

I am researching Pascoe and Croudace. William Pascoe married Elizabeth Croudace in  Lydney, Glos. on 8th Sep 1824, and she came from Painshaw (Penshaw) in Durham. Her parents were John and Elizabeth Croudace - can anyone help me with any more details on the Croudace family?
