Warwickshire Lookup Requests / Re: Chilvers Coton lookup

Glad I could help a bit.
Sorry, I don't have access to the local marriage records. Someone in the local family history society kindly found one for my William White when they visited the county records. However, I have just noticed that some are beginning to appear on-line in summary form. An example is ... www.hunimex.net/warwick/bmd/
I have got stuck on my William, although I have found hundreds of Whites to the side and backwards in time in Chilvers Coton. Just cannot find anything about his birth. He's also missing in the 1861 census, as are almost all of his children. Then they pop up again in 71.
I'm impressed that you can trace one strand back to 1400s. It seems that about 100 families in Warwickshire can claim 500-600 years of continuous residence, including the Whites (but not yet my one !)
If I find anything about your Whites I'll pass the info on.
Good hunting, Jim
