I have reason to think that my gt gt gt grandfather William Thomas died in an explosion at Clifton Hall Colliery in 1885, Pendlebury.  Does anyone have a copy of the list of men who died in this explosion?

I have searched Google but cannot actually find a list of the men who died,

thanks

I have just found this post from several years ago there is a list of all the names of the men and boys killed at clifton hall but two names are missing  i have also checked the mining data base and i can't find a william thomas for clifton hall this does not mean that he did not die there  with a list of over 200,000 names it is more than likely many are missing we are talking of an era when life was very cheap
hope this helps you if you haven't already found what you were looking for

Andy
