Hi everyone!  AS it turns out you were ALL RIGHT!  This William was our ancestor all along and had a second family.  The tin plate worker wasn't our fellow after all, and now we have an extra 30 years to add to our family tree.  Just wanted to say a BIG thank you to everyone who offered their help, it was lovely of you all,
 ;D

Hi everyone!  I am looking to discover a monumental inscription for my ancestor William Fitzgerald who was buried at St Thomas Stockton Heath Cheshire in 1898.  Is someone able to direct me to where I may be able to find this information?  Thanks, Jo

Oh My gosh Neptune, that is so amazing!  Thank you so much!  We have been looking for the deaths of Mary Jane and Joseph but as there were so many with that name we never thought we would find them.  You are so wonderful, thank you so much.  That would be great if you could email me the pictures.

Absolutely!  We have been looking for William senior's ancestors for years!  This is why we were really interested when we found this.  Could there be a connection...there are so many Fitzgeralds so who knows!!!  We can't find a birth record for him, it's like he just appeared! William named his first son Samuel, and another son Richard who sadly died , and so far this is the first line we have found with both these names in it from a scottish line.   *sigh*

We have been told there was a link between our Oswestry Fitzgeralds and Lord Edward Fitzgerald.  Also, that four or five uncles were behedded :(  Silken Thomas Fitzgerald???
