I see Irene Amy Miller Coberly's obit on Ancestry.   Lots of names of relatives - but nothing about a possible first husband with the last name Thomas.

US SSDI has a death for Irene Amy Miller/Coberly  b 3 May 1925 in Camrose Alberta.  Died 24 Sept 1993.   Parents Theodore L Miller and Sarah A Weisser.

Obituary for Joan Tickell in the Globe and Mail newspaper - 27 July 1984.

Says she died in Oakville on 25 July 1984.  Joan Cropp, wife of John Tickell.  Sister of Margaret.  Aunt of K, M, L and N.

I have watched my Dad's cousin do this.    She is very good at it!!    Certainly a "Welsh thing"!   She may take more than 60 seconds - but she will usually get there :).   It is really fascinating to listen to her "zero in".....

My Dad has been in Canada for several years...it is quite surprising how often he can find a mutual  connection with other Welsh people we encounter on this side of the pond!
