Ozziegal,
The John Haines that you refer to as Churchwarden of St James, Westminster who died about 1694.
John was the son of Thomas Heynes and Alice Adkins
John married Mary Dallin. I have found no reference to any children and no children are mentioned in his will of which I have a copy. John was very wealthy and left money in Trust for the poor of Kings Sutton.  This Trust was only wound up in the past fifteen years!
The spelling of John's name appears as Haines, Haynes and father used Heynes just to confuse researchers.
My family line is from John's brother Thomas (known as Thomas the elder) I would be happy to send you copies of what I have.

Hi Ali,
I am still attempting to make sense of the various branches of Haynes/Haines  in Kings Sutton and Banbury.  Did the the Kings Sutton Haynes go to the Monthly Quaker meetings and so get married there or are they living permanently in Banbury?
I would like to contact Elaine Blackmer off line.  Please contact me at (*)
   Regards Patrick

Have just found your messages re Haynes of King Sutton. I am on rootschat for the first time.  I am descended from Thomas Heynes Born Abt 1560, died 1628. and Mary Pargiter who died 1633.
As you probably know the name was spelt in several different ways before it became either Haynes or Haines.  I recognise many of the names that you and "sue" mention.
I would love to exchange information with you.  I have been researching the family for many years.
