For those whose families were liberated from here - this is the video referenced that contained my grandfather who was liberated from II.E. He was here for a year previously having been at VIII E3 and for a short time at IIID. I read somewhere (cannot recall where but it would have been checking the BFC) that II.E was for the transition from IIID for those who declined to take part. The footage is helpful in terms of how they were liberated and returned. Also some clear footage of some POWs

Hello. Hoping that you are all still out there as I also have an interest in this camp. Particularly I'd like to know the link to Drönnewitz (was it classed as a sub camp?).

In respect of repatriation, my grandfather was held here. There is video footage of him being flown home at the end of Kate Hubble's "who do you think you are". There may be others there also
