Hiya,
I dont know of any army connections. I believe there may be a living Walter Edgeworth in Dublin. His phone number isnt working though. Also, the Kavanaghs that run the 'Diggers' pub are my mothers cousins!!!

Has anyone come across this surname around Naas. My rellies were there around 1850s/60s. John Edgeworth was married to a Bridget Miller. Children include Christopher, Bridget, Mary, Michael, Catherine, John.

Hiya,
ive since found the 1933 marriage to a John Delaney. Sadly no children so no living relatives. 'Vera' died around 1987 so maybe a chance of neighbours still there who knew her.
Cheers,
Mark

Hi there,
I dont know if there is a connection but i think my GGGrandmother was a Mary Clynes. She was married to a John O'DONNELL and they lived in Irishtown, County Mayo. She was born around 1835(dont know where) and died in 1911. I think they are the parents of my Patrick O'Donnell, although i cannot find his birth cert.

Can someone find a marriage for me as i cant get to LDS because of their opening times and locations.
My grandfathers sister was called Mary Veronica O'Donnell who was also known as Vera. She was still single in Feb 1928 and living on Cowper Road, Dublin.
Its the last missing link of my family. Cheers.

Hiya,
I dont suppose you have any info on O'Donnells or O'Gormans from 1926 onwards. My grandad Isaac Slyvester O'Donnell married Violet O'Gorman in Rathmines in 1926.
Isaacs sister was living on Cowper Road in Feb 1928. Her name was Mary Veronica O'Donnell, known as Vera. Need to find her marriage.

You can still do brass rubbings there  ;D- as well as buying souvenirs from the shop or looking at local parish registers or the GRO!
They've recently extended their opening hours too from 10am-4pm, Monday - Friday.
