Hi Ann

I am related to a Patrick Monaghan born in 1826 the son of John Monaghan and Mary Kennealy (Details on church register in Australia at time of marriage in 1856). Patrick was convicted of stealing a pig in 1848 and sent to Australia in 1849 onboard the Havering. Could we have a connection here

Hi Norrie,

Janet Mackie never married and died in 1917

Isobel Mackie died in 1933 in Thornton. She married Andrew Duff in 1886.

William her son was born in 1869 to unknown father and I have no further details

Andrew was born on 29/10/1878 in Barnyards and died in 1925 in Upper Largo. He married Jessie Thomson

Jemina Mackie never married and died on 15 Nov 1884 in Barnyards

Colin Mackie married Emma Watling in England and remaied there for the rest of his life

Lila Mackie died on 9 Apr 1859 in Barnyards

William Milligan Mackie is my GGGrandfather and married Mary Christie in 1871 in Glenbervie and came to Australia in 1882.

At the time of the 1861 Census Colin Mackie and Janet Greig lived at 9 Back Dykes Kilconquhar with Janets father James

I hope this makes sense and look forward to anything you can help me with

Greg
