Thanks for the heads up re not being able to inbox back - happy to reply here. Yes , i am in Australia and am definately tied to William Broxam, son of Jane ( or Jean ) Strachan. William went on to father 9 children and live to by 85 years old. His 8th born child, Elvin, was my great grandfather. But i have no information in regards to Edward Broxholme and whether he was, in fact, William's biological father. Williams first son, born in 1888 ( his 5th child ) was named " Edward Francis " - so i believe at the very least, he was under the impression Edward Broxholme was in fact his father. I have only started this very exciting journey guys, so i will be sure to keep you informed as my research continues - thank you for you help already !
