Hi

I'm needing a few ideas on this record from the Dreadnought hospital in Greenwich.

On the top record I can see that the patient refused treatment but cannot decipher the complaint.

I'm tempted that the first word is "bullet", but not wedded to that. Any thoughts??

Looking at the 1891 Census in Wales I think she's living as a servant to the Beech family at 11 Castle Street, Ruthin, Denbigh. 16yo and born Regent's Park, London

He died 1916, or is 1939 a typo?

No, John Charles died in 1916. William and Mary were his parents and Edith his sister

I can also see that Edith Mabel Sullivan married and became a Potter with one child, still living in Kent.

Obviously a living person so can't give details publicly

Mary Louisa Webb (18) married Leonard Richard Hobday (21) in Brompton, Kent on 3 November 1889.

On 1 May 1901 Leonard petitioned for divorce from his wife on grounds of adultery with William Sullivan of Gillingham ongoing since 1893 (3 children having been born to William & Mary Louisa in the meantime).

Decree nisi granted to Leonard on 18 November 1901; decree absolute on 16 June 1902.

Well done! Where did you find this information? I'm always looking to increase my armoury!

In the 1901 census the family are at 25 Church Street, Gillingham

William Sullivan 26, b Gillingham Kent
Mary Louisa 29, b Walton Suffolk
William Geo 7, b New Brompton Kent
John Chos 5, b Bromley Kent
Philip Hy 2, b Gillingham Kent

I think I can see a death for William George in 1902
