Researching William Esler and Mary Lennox.  I have found only one son James Lennox Esler. When he was born in 1871 they were residing in Linenhall Street, Ballymena, Antrim.  I would be most grateful for any help.

The Cromwellian Settlement of Ireland

Has anyone other than me been able to link a Cromwellian Adventurer through to current times?  Once I found this link I was able to work it back and now have my family coming from Staffordshire before they invested in the Adventurer scheme.

Well I got the death certificate and it confirmed that his parents were John Newlands and Margaret Lang.  Interestingly I ordered the other death certificate in the name of George Waddell Newlands who died in 1951 b. 1877 as well to see if I could figure out how he is connected.  I am starting to think it maybe a son from a previous marriage to a Christina Ramsay.

My husbands mother was a Newlands.  She was a descendant of a George Waddell Newlands d. 1890 a son of David Newlands and Margaret Lang.  They were from the Bathgate area too. Any others with Newlands from this area in West Lothian? I've set up a facebook group for Newlands descendants.  If you are interested them please PM me.

Happy new year to all the Newlands out there!

Cambridgeshire / Henry Nickolls/Nicholls of Longford Tasmania
« on: Friday 13 November 15 21:51 GMT (UK)  »
Hi I am searching for the parents of Henry Nicholls who married Charlotte Wilkins in Tansor, Northamptonshire, England in 1826 and migrated to Tasmania.  I found an indication that he was born in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire in 1797 but I haven't found any evidence to support this.  My suspicion is his wife may have been a Berkeley (a middle name of his oldest son).  Would be most grateful for any information.  Thanks in advance.

Searching for the parents of Richard Fowell b. 1760 d. 1820 of Quidenham, Nathaniel b. 1765 d. 1825, and Henry b. 1770. See attachment regarding Henry's portrait.

I have found a number of trees stating parents were William Fowell and Sarah Nicholls but haven't been able to substantiate that.  Would be grateful for any help.

I had done that through that site before but for some reason it was the only choice it would give me. I haven't ordered a death record before so I thought that must be why.  I've only ordered birth records and marriages through their site before and had got them immediately.
