Warwickshire / Re: Charles Edwin Willcox - bapt Oct 7, 1866

Sorry for my writing error.  I miswrote - "he is not there, on the 1881 census"
Yes, he is on the 1871 Census - aged 4
And on the 1881 Census, he is not listed, but the other 5 sons are.  The eldest son, Henry has moved out.
and on the 1911 Census, there are 5 children still living and 2 who have died.

Thanks for pointing out my error and for your assistance.
Sharon

Warwickshire / Charles Edwin Willcox - bapt Oct 7, 1866
« on: Monday 02 April 18 23:50 BST (UK)  »
Parents are John Willcox - born 1831 and Rebecca Neal
They have 7 sons but I am at this time interested in Charles Edwin.
I have been unable to discover what has happened to Charles.
He was baptized October 7th, 1866 Parish of Leamington Priors, county of Warwick
but there he is not on the 1881 Census, with the rest of his family.
I am looking for a death registration.
Can someone point me in the right direction?
Thank you.

Hoping that someone else is also researching this same family.  My Grandfather is Arthur Willcox, sister to Olive, Rose, Violet and Ivy.
Would like to discuss further.

I found it at http://collections.shakespeare.org.uk/search/archive/view_as/list/page/3160
I cannot find where I can contact to obtain the coroners inquest.

Warwickshire / 1835 death certificate
« on: Tuesday 20 March 18 06:51 GMT (UK)  »
I believe that my George Hambridge was found drowned in the Warwick & Birmingham Canal at Budbrooke, August 23, 1835.  Can someone point me in the right direction for finding a burial or newspaper report - I know civil registration in England began in 1837, so there will be no death certificate.
thanks
