A couple of points -
St Saviour's is the Anglican cathedral in Goulburn and the style "Very Rev" is one used for the Dean of an Anglican cathedral. It's a beautiful building. I think earlier posts had already established that this would be the place of marriage.
Back to the original reason for the request. Have I got it right that you think the parents listed on his immigration may not be his biological parents? And the immigration record is the earliest record of parents?
And this is the info from his first marriage?
Yes, he was a Woolcomber, bachelor, she a spinster, botp, both made their marks, with consent of parents crossed out, witnesses Francis Capstick & Thos Thompson
Hope you can find this info, although it seems possible that he will just give the same parent names as he did on the immigration record![]()
I can go to the NLA but not till at least the weekend. Perhaps an email to St Saviour's cathedral office may be useful.office@goulburncathedral.org.au

Is this is the assumed UK marriage?

Doesn't the fact that they were married by the Dean of Goulburn indicate that it was an Anglican marriage? (rather than Roman Catholic).
A little about the Dean of Goulburn in 1874 http://nla.gov.au/nla.news-article63105475

Have you searched TROVE ? Free site for newspapers covering early 1800s to 1950s.
Goulburn NSW had several papers.

I remain convinced that the information he gave the clergy when marrying Rebecca in 1874 needs to be considered for one of the questions he would have been asked was the names including the nee name of both his parents. Other questions include where born, age, occupation, status .... The Official Transcription (less than $20 Au) would provide the same info as the real deal cert, and it costs less, and will have sufficient info to know which denomination (Anglican v Roman Catholic) to then find where the original parish registers are currently held - seems likely that the registers have been filmed![]()
