Don't see Elizabeth on the 1911c. But do you think she would (if alive) marry again while her children are in care and she herself has T.B.
Is there any hospital records for such places and events?

Westmeath / Death Record for Elizabeth Cunningham/Pearce.

I am looking for the death record of my g.grandmother.
Elizabeth Pearce nee Cunningham. B.6 Oct 1873 M.1 Oct 1891. to John Walter Pearce. They had three children.Elizabeth is on the 1901 census, living at home with her mother, her children are in care. They are the known facts.Elizabeth's husband was a soldier but what happened to him we are not sure of. Elizabeth is supposed to have tried to emigrate to the U.S. but was sent back as unfit. Elizabeth  died of T.B. After 1901 as neither she or her mother are on the 1911 census relating to the home address. I have looked on the usual web sites but to no avail. Is there any other way I can find Elizabeth death record?

Just to update you.
I found the records for William Mcintosh on Find my past, this does not seem to be him. I have been in contact with the relatives in America who seem sure William was in the 4th Hussars. Mary Ellen spoke to her Grandchildren about her father and life in Scotland or England. S back to square one. Thanks Gortonboy for your help.

Hi Gortonboy, nice to talk to you again.
Well, I started researching my Scottish family a few years ago through Scotlands people and through them found each generation back to James,William was not the relative I was looking for, I was more interested in his brother but I had the census records. Someone in America  asked me about William so I started researching him. I have the marriage and death certs.. William died in Exeter on 1st January 1876. He is described as a private in the Hussars age 30 years and as I said both he and James died of diabetes.
I don't know if this is "my" William but the dates military connections and cause of death are leading me this way. I was also told that the child followed her mother to Canada, with her aunt-another Mary. [that fits] The connection I have in America, where Mary Ellen settled seem to think all this fits but I would like to prove it to myself.

Hi Gortonboy, Thanks for your help you seem to have found William for me. Thank you. Yes William was born in Ardclash Nairn his father was James both father and son died of diabetes, and both were carpenters. William married Ellen Woodley in on October 7th 1867 a month before both departed for India. A daughter Mary Ellen was born there possibly in 1872. In 1881 Mary is in Devon with her grandmother before joining her mother in Canada or America. I have a copy of a photo of Mary aged 9 in Indian dress. I have followed Mary and her mother to America but the Devon side of her family don't seem to think my William is the right father. There was a William McIntosh who was born married and died in Devon but why then would Mary were Indian clothes?Anyway I want to find my William.
Thanks for your help, where did you find the records?

HELP, I have spent some time tracing my family tree but I am not good at knowing where to look for records.
I had a relative [William McIntosh] born 1845 in Scotland he joined the 92nd[?]. He married in Devon just before sailing to India in 1867,a daughter was born in 1872 in Mootan/Mesout [?]. The family returned to Devon in 1876 as William was ill,he died the same year.
How can I find proof of the birth of William's daughter, and his army service. Would his widow have received a pension if he died in service but not through combat?
The widow and daughter moved to the U.S. so I have no British records after William's death.
Thanks for any help.

Thanks to GerryS for the map of plots at Gilrose Cemetery. I shall be visiting next week and would have been lost without this map.
Regards,AW.
