Hi
On a lighter note can anyone tell me what family this Goerge came from.... George Langridge married Clementine Campbell aka Cleo Laine Sept Quarter 1946 they divorced c1957 and had one child named Stuart ........ I will get the certificate in time, just wondered if anyone has any ideas off hand. I have the relevant reference number for the certificate.

Hi Ian
I agree with the children of Samuel and Fanny although I didn't have James. William could have died before 1841.
I have just been looking on IGI to find out which Fanny Histed I have.
1861 and 1871 have Fanny / Frances born East Gristead, I can't find them on the 1851  ???

Phil
Just to tie up Phillis Histed, she kept her name and went on to marry GEORGE ANDERSON 03 Sep 1843 Saint John The Baptist, Croydon, Surrey

Andrea - I haven't got round to any certificates for this family yet but yes I agree that is the way to go so will get on to that. As for the full index checking that hasn't been done by me either. I have also been caught out in the past too

Ian - thanks for checking James Samuel on Ancestry, never crossed my mind to double check on there, will do in future - lesson learned  ;)

I am also leaning towards Bailey and not Tiley but have no source to back it up

Andrea - Can't find Mary on 1851, she could be Eliza's daughter and have her name whatever it is  ::)

Phil - Looking at the writing of the other names on the same page I am leaning more towards Fillie than Lillie  ;)
