There is a SpringMount in Ovens that belongs to my grandmother's family.  I think the original owner/tenant of which I am aware is Sir E.J. Walshe, there were others including a Walsh (without the "e") and it is currently owned by the descendants of Walsh, now the Carroll family.  It is a large home on a parcel of a little over 100 acres.  Nobody lives there at this time, but the land as far as I know is leased out and the home used for retreats.  I was told the Carrolls are also descendants of Sir Walshe (with the "e").  but am missing links back to him directly.  I have no information about Rawlins, but let you know if I come up with anything.  Would the picture have any other writing or names?
