i haven't been on here for a while and having just logged on to have a quick i have found a message as follows:

My g.g.grandmother was Harriot Paull b 1820 Broadwindsor, do we have a link ?
I can go back three more generations from her if you do not already have them.   from r_hanger

was Harriott born a Paul or did she marry into the Paul family? Please do get in touch as i think we may possibly have a connection and i would love to see any information that you have going back further.

I know i have posted on this subject before and thank you to everyone who has helped with information so far.
But i am still trying to find out why and when they went to australia - my understanding is that Charles Spencer b approx 1871 with 2 small sons, henry b approx 1889 and Charles b approx 1893 was sent to Australia with money sometime in the late 1890's or possibly early 1900's following the death of his wife marie.

Since my last posting i now have the following information which i believe to be correct:

Charles Spencer married Marie Gray Campbell (says Mary on certificate)
in Quarter 4 of 1892 in Pancras London

she died  in Quarter 2 of 1898 Islington, Greater London (marrie Gray Spencer on certificate)

There is believed to be a Scottish connection but i am not sure what.

I have been trying to find a birth for Marie / Mary but have not been successful yet.

Any further information / help would be grately appreciated.

Hi Meliora,

Thank you for that last birth - i think that one could well be correct, however, unfortunately the birth of Charles Reuben Spencer that you gave is not the correct one as i have just found his death within 3 months of birth.

let me know if you find anymore
