Thanks Gaffy, I will see if I can find out.  Just want to know if he is the same person, although it sounds like it. Must try and find out when Sarah (Shannon) McFall died.

Thank you Gaffy, will have to look into this info.  If could indeed be the same Andrew McFall. Will have to see if I can find Sarah's death. I don't really have much to go on, so any help is appreciated!  :)

Sorry, I meant the Scottish Census!  Have already looked our 1901 and couldn't find any trace of them.

Thank you, that is the same family, Sarah had an older sister living in Scotland, so looks like they went there after their marriage.  Then I found a birth of a son, James on 1st Aug 1875 at Carneal, Raloo which is near Gleno, so they had returned here. But I have the feeling they did eventually went back to Scotland. Is there a census for 1881 or 91 that I could look.

Searching for information on Andrew McFall/McFaul, age 21, a tailor, and Sarah Shannon age 19.  They were married in St. Nicholas Church of Ireland, Carrickfergus in 1871.  He was the son of Patrick McFall/McFaul, a tailor of Carrickfergus. She was the daughter of James Shannon of Gleno, near Larne.  Any information greatly appreciated!

Hi John

You could try the Larne Museum, 2 Victoria Rd, Larne. BT40  I can get a phone no. for you. The Museum have a large collection of photographs of the area and they may have one for Rorysglen.  Is there a particular family that you are researching?

Regards
Jennie
