Hi Welly07,  After looking at some family photos I am thinking lady in the middle is Elizabeth Jamieson who married Kenneth Brake in Canada. The lady on the right is definitely my gran Agnes Jamieson.  Lady on left is too old to be your g gran Maggie.
Also can't be Annie Jamieson, Mcdonald or McKinley as she was in Canada in 1914. Maybe another family member from Lochwinnoch.

Hi Welly 07  the lady on the right of the photo is my grandmother Agnes Jamieson.  She didn't marry till around 1919. So I think the photo was taken before this. I have that photo as well and think the other two ladies are not related to Agnes just workmates on the railway. That's were she met her husband,  my grandad.
Regards Gerry

I think any children he had would have been with first wife Ella Mosher.
Esther Huth would have been 62 when they married in 1995. Children on obituary probably his wife Esthers.

On John AS Jamieson s obituary on 23/01/2001 no mention of a son called Cliff.
Could he have been a child with his first wife Ella who he divorce around 1979.?

Thanks again  Sandra looks like Annie Jamieson nee Mcdonald married McKinlay while still married to James Jamieson.  Looks like Bigamy.
I wonder if Annie and McKinlay were in a relationship in Lochwinnoch and both decided to leave for Canada. Annie left a husband and 5 children under 15 to go away. Families eh.

Hi  Sandra   thanks for all that information.  After spending a while reading it I think that the Hugh Jamieson is my great uncle and John his son. Never thought they both had such a varied life.

Hi Welly 07,  read your posts on family mysteries. Interesting info on Hugh Jamieson and his marriage. I found some old family photos and post cards when my mum died and it might indicate that Hugh had a son called John a possible cousin of Glen's.
No knowledge of Glen's fathers side, but on his mother's he had 4 cousins.
Anna(Annie) Scott,  Peter Scott and Elizabeth Scott.
Also Martin Benson.  He was an artist and lived in Denmark with his Danish family.
Regards Gerry
