The names of the children of John and Veneranda (also known as Vera) Byrne were John, Thomas, and Ellen. The link for the 1911 Irish Census is http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/search/.

Shiraz,

My mother and her two sisters all came to the United States in the late 1950s and early 1960s. My Uncle Joe never lived in the United States. My grandfather passed away before my mother left Ireland.

I am not sure how the personal message works, but I am trying to get three posts. :D

Hello Shiraz,

My grandfather, Joseph Connolly, was Sean's brother. He was located in a different area than Sean and the other Connolly family members at the GPO. Weren't some of his other sisters also involved in the Uprising? Unfortunately, I do not have too much information because my mother (Monica) and her siblings (Vera, Joe, and Mary) are all passed away and I never thought to ask them while they were living.

Any information you could give me regarding the Connollys (related to Sean not James) would be great.

Thanks,

PS I am VERY new to the site, so I am not sure if this is correct. My apologies if it is not.
