Hi Raylen,

Thanks for looking up Hubert.  Yes, they are all relations except for 1930 in NSW with Maude, who I have never heard of.  I would have thought Hubert would still have been in Victoria.

Reenie :)

Hi,

Yes, thats them!  I'm so excited.  ;D ;D ;D

Thanks Raylen and Sue for doing those lookups.  I was wondering if they had gone to Victoria with Basil, or maybe another Australian State.  Their brother Hubert Edward Hardy ended up in NSW, and he is my great grandfather.  Is the electoral roll for WA as well as Victoria?  If it is, would you mind looking up Hubert Edward HARDY? He also had brothers Phillip, Leo and sisters Etheldred and Mary.

I had found my g.g.grandparents in Karrakatta, but I did not know where Vincent and Austin had gone too.

Could you please tell me what Chelt stand for?

Thanks again for your help

Reenie

Hi

Thanks Mariac and Raylen for doing the lookups on the electoral roll. I really appreciate it.  If only his brothers Vincent and Austin were as easy to find!

Have a great day

Hi,

Could some-one please lookup a Basil Joseph HARDY on the Victoria Electoral roll from 1920 onwards?  I think he would have been in the Balaclava district.  He died in 1959, but don't know exactly where in Victoria that was.

Thank you for your help

Reenie

London & Middlesex Completed Lookup Requests / Re: 1871/1891 census lookup for HARDY
« on: Thursday 17 April 08 14:00 BST (UK)  »
HI,

Thanks so much to The Newfster and Tati.
I'm over the moon.

Thanks for looking Wiliam John Hardy up on the census for me.  He did marry Sarah Jane Rudge, sorry I forgot to mention it.
I did not know about the children Mary or Les.
Basil was born in 1891, so it must have been after the census was taken.  They must have come to OZ sometime after he was born, as they had two more children in OZ in 1895.

Would it be possible for you to look up William John Hardy b 1851c in the 1861 census?  I looked on an index for it, and I think he is in a household schedule no 82.

Thanks again.

Reenie.

Hello,

I am looking for my g.g.grandfather William John HARDY b. 1851c whose wife was Sarah Jane HARDY.  They had the following children that I know of:  Hubert E HARDY, Austin HARDY, and Etheldred HARDY.
Could possibly have had sons Phillip Andrew and Basil Joseph HARDY

William was an artist and was born in Clerkenwell.  I have only located him on the 1881 census Civil Parish: St George Bloomsbury County:London, Country England.

If any one could do a lookup for the 1891 or 1871 census I would very much appreciate it.

Thank you

Reenie

Pembrokeshire Lookup Requests / Lookup HARRIS parish record- 1841/1851 census
« on: Friday 31 August 07 12:21 BST (UK)  »
Hi,

I am hoping some-one can help me as I have come to a brick wall.

I am trying to find William HARRIS  alias William PAULET  born 3-4-1831 at Haverfordwest. Pembrokeshire.  He came to Western Australian on the Ship Pyrennees, leaving from Portsmouth and arriving 1-7-1851.  He was trialed for burglary at Hereford  and sentenced for 10 yrs.  His father was also named William.
Any information or advice on how to find his family in Wales would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Darcy,

Thomas George MANN's father was also Thomas George MANN, and he was a musician.  I'm afraid that's all I know.

Thank you.
