A Patrick Broome of 44 Bridge St. Tralee was arrested in the early 1940s in relation to documents found in his house connected the IRA. Anybody know if he was imprisoned or interned?

Hi. I am doing some research for an author of an upcoming book, due for publication next year concentrating on the period 1913-1926. She wishes to include a piece on Joseph Whitty of Wexford who died on hunger strike in 1923. He was aged 19 and is buried in Ballymore. In particular, we are interested in Joseph's family, parents, siblings, etc. Where the family lived in 1901 and 1911 is a puzzle. I live near New Ross and would gladly travel to meet anybody who could help. Patrick Flanagan

Hi folks. Stephen Michael Cahillane was born 1909, Killorglin, Co. Kerry. He married in Kensington 1939. Family lore says he was awarded The Burma Cross. We have absolutely nothing on his military history, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Dave and Toni, O'Donnell and Jordan are accounted for, also a Bernard Coll married a McConnon in Ireland in 1923, wrong man. Have searched all of Ireland with no luck. Wondering now if he told the truth when he married in 1930 when he described himself as "widower". There would not seem any reason for that.
