« on: Sunday 13 February 22 20:25 GMT (UK)  »
Thank you everyone you have all gave me a better place to look. Found a bunch of them also in Wakefield too with some of the children born in middlesbrough. Looks like they seem to have gone between  Middlesbrough Bradford and Wakefield towns. It dosent help with them been Irish and all of them naming there children the same and each family seems to have between 7 or 8 children each.
Thanks once again.

Yorkshire (West Riding) / Missing James mctiernan and family
« on: Sunday 13 February 22 14:43 GMT (UK)  »
Hi everyone having trouble locating this family in bradford in 1851.
What I know so far
James mctiernan (mistranscribed) as mcternan married
Mary welsh
At Bradford St Peter cathedral 9th December 1850.

James father Teddy mctearnan
Mary father John welsh

There daughter
Maria was born in bradford in 1855.

So they should show up on the census for 1851.

I have tried all sorts different surnames etc.
The next time I catch up with family is in the 1861 census living in middlesbrough. Where James and Mary  decided to stay for the rest of there days. Maria eventually went to America. But she went from middlesbrough there  in 1889.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.

Hi there could someone please help me I am looking for a Wilfred Albert kelly born in Middlesbrough between 1922 and 1925. Mother grace castleton. Apparently he served in the green Howards in ww2 according what I have been told the green Howards don't have any record of him.  Is there another way I would be able to search for other regiments please. Thank you.   :-\

Hi Jenny will send you a email I too found them on family search but also found a really big thread about the Taylor side on a search I done. Very interesting as its put a new thing on Richard and Sarah my Gg parents. Mary there daughter was my great grandmother. I now know why as well why my dad said they from  Merthyr Tydfil as found her there in 1881 census as Mary sheen.
