Thirsk isn't really that big an area and all the Parish records would be held at the NYCC Archive library in Northallerton, she may have been Sowerby, Sandhutton, Carlton Miniott or Thirsk but usually on the returns I've seen they tend to put that. York is around 30 miles which in 1841 is quite some distance  ;) Have you found the marriage with the two daughters?

Found it, Melbourne Yard was demolished circa 1921 to make way for the towns cinema, which is now the New Life Baptist Church.

I've never heard of Melbourne Yard, but looking at what has been said here, it might be in the vicinity of what is the Standard Pub area, I think there may have be a Welbourne Yard, will dig out my books and have a look.
