George's birth cert?  Marriage cert?  (Sorry, didn't read your post properly  ::) ).  What parent details do they give?  When/where was he born?  Does he show up in censuses?  Siblings' names?

Yes, I thought it did it automatically from IE when I downloaded Chrome some months ago; I just clicked on "My bookmarks" and they were all there waiting for me  :) .

When you have a new tab open, near the top on the right-hand side is there a yellow folder named "Other bookmarks"?  Have you had a look in there?

Imprisonment for debt was mainly abolished under the Debtor's Act of 1869 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Debtors%27_prison

Have you tried the London Gazette?  http://www.london-gazette.co.uk/search
