Death.
William Kelly, aged 62, married, a Painter, died on 4 July 1936, at Mountrath.
The cause of death was Bronchitis, 2 years, Heart Failure, 3 days, certified.
His death was registered on 11 July 1936, by William Kelly, son, present at death, of Maryborough Road, Mountrath.

That looks to be the correct one!

Here's the marriage of Michael Delaney (farmer of Killeany) to Mary Clooney - 8 August 1945. His father John Delaney a farmer. Mary Delaney was the informant on the death record of John. Note that one of the witnesses was Christopher Delaney (his younger brother).

I also noted that a James Heylitt is the witness to both marriages, but then he is also a witness at other marriages on the records so not sure if this is a family connection or someone who was an official at the marriage  ???.
