thank u so much Stan yeap they r mine :)

it raised two new questions to solve
the Susanna (aged 17) i never had before
and my Eliza was not there so something to work on
and it gave me the  last name of Ash
which after doing some hunting turns out to be married name of one of the daughters that had left home , so that was a real bonus
Um the Shropshire Union canal co. I found a web site for the trust e-mailed them but no reply can you suggest where i might look to try and see if records of that company might still exist ??
again Stan thank you
o and BTW if I can help you out in anyway what so ever please just ask
kind regards
Steve

Hi Jan
i wonder if you can do a wee look up if possible in the 51 & 61 census
I'm trying to trace as much as possible my 3x great grandfather
i have him and his wife in the 1871 census 1881 census with one daughter and 1891 census David and his wife do not appear
so the person i am trying to trace is
David Morgan (b. abt 1805 Kerry) age as at the 1871 census 65 (I think)
Susannah (or Susan) (b.abt 1803 Welshpool or Newtown) age as at the 71 census 68
there Children (that I know of)
Catherine Sarah (b.1828)
Jane Elizabeth (b.1832)
Charles (b.1836)
Eliza (b.1838)
Harriet (b.1840)

Now i know as at the 71 census he was living (and working as an agent for the Shropshire Union canal Co.) at canal wharf in Llanllwchaiarn (i hope i've got that right )if that helps in any way

any help in this would be wonderfull
