On searching for ancestors today I found that my great grandmother was born at Millbank, Dalbeattie  in 1856- on her birth certificate it states that her father's occupation was a grain dealer so I presume it was a mill.

On searching for ancestors today I discovered that my great grandmother's father was a grain merchant at Millbank, Dalbeattie - so I presume it must have been a mill
