Canada / advice on how/where I can search next
« on: Wednesday 18 July 12 22:39 BST (UK)  »
I have a great great uncle

Charlie Hall
DOB 30th June 1888   Durham, UK
Died Jan 1969 Durham, UK

However 28th June 1949 he left Liverpool for Quebec
He returned to the UK 5th August 1960 from Quebec

Rumour has it in the family that he married while he lived in Canada - but I am unsure how I can search for any marriage certificates/indexes to look further into this. I know that when he returned to UK in 1960 he traveled alone - so probably divorced or left his Canadian wife in Canada.

Any suggestions please  (I am UK myself so I am unfamiliar with any Canadian search tools)

Many Thanks !!

Where did you find the information regarding casualty 4463 ?

Unfortunately - Salonika does not ring any bells, I dont know much else except his 1911 census and his DOB / Death etc.

Thanks
