does anyone know if Carrickmacross or Drum have there own Presbyterian graveyards?
If not --any info on where residents of these towns would have be buried?
Thank you  :D

Monaghan / Re: Parish registers--Campbell, Margaret UPDATE

I have a copy of info from her marriage cert-- (1873)
her father was a James Campbell from Carrickmacross and the two witnesses were a James & Mary Campbell.
I am leaning towards them being a sibling and his wife or cousins as she was disowned by her family for marrying a Roman Catholic.

Monaghan / General question on Griffith's Eval
« on: Thursday 16 June 05 19:02 BST (UK)  »
Hello all :)--having looked at various records from GE for Magheross and I am unsure as to what criteria is being used for listing the indivduals mentioned --

Were these names strictly of persons who owned land or who simply lived in the district ?

The females mentioned --I am trying to figure out if they were widows who owned property after the death of a husband/father or possibly young women who lived in a household.
Young men in their teens --would they be included?
Thank you for your assistance  ;D

Australia Lookups completed / Re: Australian Lookups offer
« on: Saturday 09 April 05 01:45 BST (UK)  »
I had more of a query as to how to go about finding info--I had two great aunts who were religious nuns who emigrated to Australia and serve there all their livesI figure they left Ireland in the 1910's--1930? (my parents think in the Perth area but not sure).
I have their birth dates-- Mary E. McIntyre was born 1886 and Annie Mc Intyre was born in 1894.
Is there any suggestion you can give me?
Thank you :) Deirdre    :)

Christopher--you nice person!!
If you would look that would be fantastic!!! I'm a Dubliner now living in Ohio and I would really appreciate it.

--her birth year was 1871 on her headstone
--the only Margaret Campbell I could find born in that year was in Drum although we know she also had relatives in Carrickmacross --I think she later married my g-grandfather  in Carrickm. Jul 25, 1893.
Thank you thank you ;D
