Hello Carol,

Sorry for the senior moment I'd forgotten that I had been in touch before - Ho hum.

I attach a photograph of wedding of Albert John Clasby and Marie Louise Wyatt. Back row l-r my grandmother's three brothers Samuel, Joseph and Charles, Next row Albert's sister Amelia or Edith (we think), Albert's mother Amelia Clasby nee Bartlett, Marie Louise Wyatt nee Brelaz and Joseph Wyatt snr. Next row Samuel's wife Kate, Albert John & Marie Louise, Joseph's jnr wife to be "Daisy".
Bottom row Unknown, Amelia or Edith (we think) and unknown. Please ignore the two older photographs they are Joseph Wyatt snr's mother and father.

I also attach a photograph of four Victorian ladies in their sunday best. This photograph has always been with our Clasby set and we do not know who they are. Given their age and dress it looks like they are from George and Amelia's generation. I also seems that we have two sets of sisters or maybe cousins? Do they mean anything to you?

Do you have the information on the shooting of Stephen Clasby at Haslar?

Any information etc would be appreciated

Best regards, David

Ps I'm a new boy here. I'm clicking on attach photograph and nothing happens. What do I need to do? Thanks David

Hello Carol,

My grandfather was Albert John Clasby he lived at 22 Mundella Rd, Battersea until it was destroyed by German bombing. I visited my uncle John Edwin Clasby (Albert's son) yesterday, he is 95.

We were talking about the past and I found your enquiry via the internet as I was searching 22 Mundella Rd. There were other Clasbys' in the road

I have various bits of Clasby info and a few photo's. I'd be happy to share these with you at sometime.

regards, David
