I would just like to thank all of you for taking the time to restore this treasured picture for me, the photo is for very, very elderly man by the name of John from Scotland, he is very happy, he does not understand how computers work so I am extending thanks from me and him to all of you for the time that you have taken on this for us.

I will show him these updates today if matron allows me

Once again many thanks

Soren

Hello,

I wonder if my friends on this forum could help me with this picture, a young Belgian soldier who was killed very near Passchendaele on 30th Sep 1918.

Many thanks in anticipation!

Soren

I wonder if someone would be so kind as to help restore this photo for me, prefferably get rid of the folds and possibly make up the missing bit, if it's too much to ask I'd appreciate any help!

I have a copy of the original war diary written at the time and also a narrative of the events that took place over 7th-8th and 9th November 1914. If you can let me have your email address via message, I will send them to you along with anything else I can find.

Regards

Martin
