Hi Geoff,

Thanks for the information, That breaks down another wall... :).

I knew the names of my great grandfathers parents but i didn't know my great grandfather had another older sibling.

Another wall now...I can't find Florence on the births born in North London...

Thanks again.

London & Middlesex Lookup Requests / 1891 Census look up please
« on: Monday 16 May 11 11:42 BST (UK)  »
Hi all,

I have a dilema. I have an 1891 census record of my great grandfather but it's the first family on the page and lists only the kids. Could someone help me out for the other page where the parents would be listed on. I have tried to look it up on Genes Reunited but it might be that the spelling was inputed wrongly or something as i can't find it.

My great grandfather Alfred T. Cunnington was listed aged 4 living at 6 William Street, Islington i believe.

His siblings he is listed with is Susan aged 9, Jane 8, Alice 6, Amy M  2 and William 1.

Could someone help and list the parents infomation or send me a copy?

Thanks

Craig

Hi all

I have a picture of my grandfather and his buddies. On the back of the picture postcard it says Somalia 1942.

I think it's army and i have no idea what regiment it was. Any ideas?

Thanks.

London & Middlesex Lookup Requests / Re: Martha A Dickens birth Islington

Hi Cherylj,

As mother's maiden names were listed after September quarter of 1911, They shows that there were two births for surname Dickens and mother's maiden name of Nugent. These are Martha A as you have already found on September quarter of 1928 in Islington and the other being a Gloria D A Dickens on the December quarter of 1938 in Hackney. This i'd presume is your mother in law?

Like Nanny Jan mentioned the death cert would tell you the information you are looking for.

Thanks Suffolk Sue. As i have never seen a marriage record that is before 1837. Does it list any other infomation other than the names and the place of marriage?
