Hi Judith,
I don't seem to be able to find how to send a private message to you.
I have been looking at the Arboe fergusons some more.
My william John was born approx 1836 from census dates and died in 1915, he lived with David Ferguson until he died and his occupation was a farmer.
All his children that I have a record for were with a Sarah Boyd.
I was wondering if perhaps he married Margaret Norris first in 1864, they had David in 1864, there is a death registrartion for David Ferguson age 0 in 1864 Cookstown vol16 pg 316.
They then went onto have your Ann in 1866. Perhaps Margaret died, there is a death registration for Cookstown 1870 vol 11 pg 300 for Margaret Ferguson age 33, making her birth 1837?
Do you have any birth or death records for your William, Margaret and David.
My thought is then he married Sarah Boyd and had another David and the other children as a second family???
My Dad has a copy of our William Fergusons will which has a Norris as a beneficiary.

There does only seem to be one birth of William John in Arboe in 1836 ( parents Andrew and Mary Jane) so could this be a link, let me know what you think.

FAO  Judith
I have also been looking for Aghacolumb as my GG grandfather, William John Ferguson lived there.
I have traced a few of your posts and we may have a link??
My G grandfather was David Ferguson born in Arboe approx 1876 ( taken from 1911 census age), he had  2 brothers Robert James and William John and also a sister Lizzie. This information came from family members still in arboe, so assume it is correct.
