Not sure, but looking at the other details I would say it should read Elizabeth.  I haven't spent too much time researching the family tree other than to try and find descendants.  They are not connected to us, we just had photographs which had been in the possession of a great aunt who worked for the Swift family, so was probably given them as a memento of her time looking after the family.

Hi Gerry and Crosby,

Sounds like I have found a new home for these photos, and possibly some of my wife's family too.  Sorry I haven't been on here for ages so missed the posts until Gerry sent me a message.  I have copied all the pictures and if Crosby would like  a copy too I am more than happy to send you a copy.  My email is bob2bond at gmail.com .

I followed David's advice and they were very helpful at Scholemoor.  They looked in the registers and rang me back with the result.  Kenneth Peter Bond was cremated on 1 December 1954 and the ashes were'scattered to the wind' as they put it in the register which meant that they were scattered in the grounds of the crematorium.  So I now know the full details and can at last put my brother in the family tree.

Thanks for your help.

Is anyone able to look at the registers at Scholemoor Cemetery?

I am looking for a brother I have just discovered I had.  My mother died last month and following her death I discovered I had a brother who sadly died aged 1 week old.  He was called Kenneth Peter BOND born 17 Nov 1954 at 12 Mornington Villas, Bradford.  He sadly died on 28 Nov 1954 at the Children's Hospital, Bradford.

I have been able to get the birth and death certificates, but don't know if or where he may be buried.  I am guessing that he was either cremated at Scholemoor Cemetery or buried at Bowling Cemetery as that was where they lived at the time.  Any help much appreciated.

Thanks,

Bob
