You are correct we are related, and its nice to hear from you. I am in contact with Ian and Judy.
I had knowledge of you all but could never get in contact.
Was only recently that I got in contact with Ian as his next door neighbour came to rootscha

My grandfather was Thomas Lang, resided at 41 Clooney Terrace, Londonderry N Ireland, Married to Mary Ann McElroy on November 3rd 1885.
I am Norman Lang son of Walter Lang who passed on 18/3/1966.

Just read a very interesting chapter referring to James Lang of Kenora, who bought an Island there now called Langs Island. Gives very interesting reading about James, a very hard working and principled man.It states he arrived there 1875, and is  a very informative article on James

Thanks, the entry on his death in Galway is correct, I had in the past located a Thomas Lang in Galway
but due to a PC disaster lost the information.

Thomas was born 1861, that would make him 86 in 1947! could the reported age at death be incorrect?

I am Norman Lang, Thomas was my grandfather, we never got to know the circumstances of his leaving.
