Hi  :),

I am researching my family tree on Keegan and the names were Bernard Keegan and Mary Connor they got married in 1876 but I do not have  the marriage certificate and have found the microfilm number. I would like some help about how to get access information via microfilm (as it is in Ireland). Would these records be hold somewhere in Dublin?

Also if anyone have any information on either people. It would be good to know.

Look forward to your reply.

Hi,

I have just found out that my great great grandad is buried at Wilford Hill according to the will as just got it.

I am wondering if there is any search for this to find the grave.

His name is Elijah Sleath, died on 26th July 1940.

I would be most grateful of any help or information or advice.

Look forward to your replies.

Hi all,

many thanks for your information.

I think she was catholic not sure...

As I do know she was born in Widnes and ended up in Pateley Bridge with her sisters and her sister had my granddad Bernard.

As far as I know Bernard was the only child out of the whole family - which is why proving difficult to find them.

As cannot find any death for Mary Keegan or Ellen (Helen) keegan.

But do have a baptism for my Granddad and godparents were Helen Keegan and another person cannot remember now will dig up the information again.

Will go to Harrogate library when it opens up again back end of October as it is closed for modernisation

Please do keep the information coming.
