Hiya

I'm one of Billy's (William) daughters; Susan and your husbands dad was always known to me as uncle Patsy.  You've mentioned you're in touch with William Dockery, is it recent contact as I spoke to him the other night and let him know about your message and we couldn't figure out who you were.  He's the one I mentioned in the first posting and has all the info you could ever want about the family and then some.

I've lived down South for years but still get back up the road now and then and there's still a lot of family living in Duntocher but as I mentioned I'm sure William will let you know the who's who of our family.

I've got a rare picture of your father in law performing in a school play at the village hall which I've been meaning to send to William for the tree for as long.  If I can get it well scanned (as it's not very good quality) would you like me to send it?

Hi my  husband is Jonathan Brian Dockery, Patrick James was his dad, Albert James his grandad.  We are intouch with William Dockery? So how are you related?

Hi there

Who's your husband as he must be my cousin?  The actual spelling of the name is Dockery.  Albert died before I was born and my granny (Annie) died when I was a teenager.  Their family consisted of Albert, Patrick, Andrew, Beasie & Mary (twins) but Mary died when young, William and Brenda.  My cousin has researched the family back over the last two hundred years and has the family tree so if you'd like more info I'm sure I can put you in touch with him.  Regards :D

I I wondered if anybody has any information on the Dochertys of Duntocher.  My husbands grandfather was Albert James Dockery born in Duntocher 1901 and married Ann Hamilton in 1919 St Patricks Church.  His father was Patrick Dockery from Ireland who married Sarah Judge and died in New Street, Duntocher in 1915.  They lived in New Street, Duntocher. Thanks

Hi Helen

Just scrolling through and noticed your message above the one I've just posted and if it's the same Cuthbertson family I'm thinking of then I might be able to shed some light.  Annie Dockery's (nee Hamilton, my granny) sister Mary married a Cuthbertson and most of the family still live in Duntocher.  Let me know if you need any more info on that line of the family as I could get in touch with them for you.

Regards

So he is standing next to my uncle Tommy Stewart, yes?  That's brilliant.  ;D
