Hi dawnsh,

Thanks for responding - I've had another look at the page and see now that some of the entries say Probate and some say Administration.  The one I ordered doesn't say either of these, but instead mentions Confirmation and Sealed - could this be why it isn't available?

I ordered a will on 27th December, received an email on 8th January to say it had been delivered, but the clickable "Download Grant" and "Will" didn't appear in the 'My Wills' section until the 22nd January.

When I click on "Download Grant" i get a one page  PDF of a standard looking letter starting, "You have ordered a copy of a grant based on an entry in the probate calendar."

When I click on "Will" there is no PDF, I just get a one line message on the screen saying "Unfortunately this will is not available at the moment. Please contact support."

Under 'Support' then 'Contacts' I can see no link for support with the wills service.  I tried using the 'Feedback' link on the 8th of January when the "Download Grant" and "Will" links were missing, but I never got a reply from them.

Has anyone else encountered this message and if so did the will eventually become available?

Thanks in advance for any assistance

**COMPLETED**  PLEASE REMOVE

If it's possible I'd be most obliged if someone could look up a marriage in Guernsey, which took place during the 1880's between George Augustus Johnson from Shoreditch/Hackney in London and Mary from Kingston-Upon-Thames, (sorry, don't know her surname).  I believe George may have been in the army.  I'm interested in finding out George's father's name and occupation, (and his mother's name if that was recorded).

They had a child born in Guernsey in 1890/91, Sydney L Johnson.

I've not had to research anyone in the Channel Islands before, so don't know if what I am asking is simple or impossible, but please don't go to too much trouble.

I'm also interested in finding out if copies of certificates can be obtained for BDM's in Guernsey and if there is a website with indexes on it that they can be ordered from.

Thanks
S
