Hi Louise,

Sorry I couldn't have been of any help to you. I took the time to read your great grandfathers story today. Thanks to David all their stories have been told. I will have a look to see if my grandfather mentioned him in his writings.

Hi , I got your message but can't reply personally as I haven't enough posts in yet. Just to let you know that a very nice man by the name of David Grant has done great research on Roger Casements men, even though he had no relation in the brigade. He has put tremendous work into his site, see the link below. I have McKeoghs book also but as you said very interesting to see everyones point of view. I've given him information on my grandfather which he has put on his site & I see your grandfather there also.  You can contact David on his website in case he has more information.Hope this is of help to you.

I just came across your post, Con O'Rahilly was my grandfather & he served in Roger Casement's Brigade. He wrote articles for the paper about his time in the War. Which is all we know about his time there. If you would like to know more you can contact me. It would be interesting to see what information you have on him as well.
