Could this be your man?

TOWNSVILLE, 17 November 1913.
At the Civil Sittings of the Supreme Court to day the action in which Harry Jeftrey sued Walter B. Anderson, claiming a specific performance of an agreement for the sale by the defendant of the lease of the Central Hotel, Hughenden, was concluded The jury returned a verdict for plaintiff, with damages at £450.  Judgment was entered accordingly. A stay of proceedings was granted by his Honour Mr Acting Justice Jameson on the application of defendant's counsel. [(Brisbane Courier, 18th Nov 1913)]

Robert was one of Gabriel Wingate and Margaret Craig.  Isabella (known as Bella) died about 1855.  Robert was oversman of some of the Pollok estate coal pits before he died.  I am researching the family as I am descended from one of Robert's brothers.  How are you connected to Robert?
