Hi Moinear,

Actually my great Grandfather on my Dad's side was Michael Halligan from Co. Kilkenny and he was married to Mary Quann from Waterford.  He was also a ships carpenter.  I think they had seven children, two of which were born in the US.  I will need to ask my Dad for more details on Michael and Mary.
