I have transcribed the newspaper clipping:

CETENARIAN'S DEATH NEAR COLERAINE

"There has just died at Shanlongford Ringsend , near Coleraine , a labourer named John M'Keever , at the remarkable age of 104 years. Deceased was born in October , 1806 some months after the death of his father. He had many interesting stories to relate appertaining to the district , in which he resided all his life. Deceased retained all his faculties up to a few weeks ago. As late as last year he was a prize winner under the county councils cottage and garden scheme."

A fabulous little piece of information.  Can I ask what newspaper & where you found it.

Thanks you

This would be correct as John McKeever died 1911 at the great old age of 105!  Unfortunately I don’t have a birth certificate for him - do you?   What about the newspaper article does it state johns fathers name?

We can also confirm David & Ellen's son - Daniel Mckeever b.1899 married Elizabeth mcclung/ (Cunningham - previous marriage) 1942 in ballentrae (ayrshire) - died 1945 in mauchline hospital (east ayrshire)

Only margaret to trace.

1911 is my latest record for her.  It turned out Daniel moved to Scotland & settled less than 40 mile from my grandfather.
